LOCATION: All SeniorTek classes and 'Computer Club' meetings are held in the 4th Floor 'SeniorTek Learning Center' of the James V. Brown Library at 19 East Fourth St. in Williamsport Pa, unless otherwise noted.
Operating Systems: Currently our lab has 2 computers with Windows 10, and 3 computers with Windows 7.

2016 Schedule

=== March 2016 Classes
You must register in ADVANCE; use the Registration Page 2.
* Tue. Mar 1, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM -- Intro to the iPad (& iPhone), 6 weeks
- Six 2-hour sessions, cost is $30.
- Students should have an iPad to bring to class.
- ~~~~~~| This is a class for new iPad users. It will cover gestures for controlling the device, how to use the included apps, using WiFi networks, communicating with others, downloading and installing apps and MORE.
- Students will be shown how to update their iPads to the latest operating system, and latest program updates.
- NOTE: The iPad and iPhone use the SAME operating system (IOS 9), so people can follow along with an iPhone if they do not have an iPad.
* Fri. Mar 4, 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM -- Computer Solutions, 4 weeks
- Four 2-hour sessions, cost is $20.
- Bring your tablet or laptop (any version operating system) or use our Windows 7 desktops. This class will be tailored to the questions of those attending the class.
- ~~~~~~| Here's the answer to all those computer tasks that have been eluding you. This class will be customized for your questions and things you are having trouble with.
- A sample of topics that have been requested includes: setting up an appointment calendar, saving files to a flash drive or CD, using tabs and columns and practicing some class topics that you'd like to go over again.

- Bring your tablet or laptop (any version operating system) or use our Windows 7 desktops. This class will be tailored to the questions of those attending the class.

- Four 2-hour sessions, cost is $20.
- Students will edit and organize digital photographs.
- We will use Google Photos, and explore alternate photo editors.
- Students will also learn to digitize photo prints by scanning.
- Week 1-accessing Google Photos
- Week 2-scanning older photos into a computer
- Week 3-editing photos
- Week 4-looking at other photo editors

Students must bring their own laptops.~~~~~~| An introductory course in developing a basic understanding of the Windows 10 operating system: WordPad, Internet Explorer, and email.Students will learn basic word processing skills including creating, editing using cut and paste features, inserting clip art and printing documents.The importance of managing computer files and folders will be stressed.

- Windows 10 operating system. Students must bring their own laptops.
